NTSO─A Trip Through Scotland – Honeck & NTSO

National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO, 國立臺灣交響樂團), founded in 1945, is the oldest symphony orchestra in Taiwan. As one of the most important orchestras in Taiwan, NTSO has had rich performing experience and high reputation.

In this concert, NTSO will cooperate with the famous conductor, Rainer Honeck, to interpret “W. A. Mozart: Divertimento No. 17 in D major, K. 334” and “F. Mendelssohn: Symphony No.3 in A minor, Op. 56.” Mozart’s very popular Divertimento was the best background music for the parties thrown by the 18th century nobility. In addition, Mendelssohn’s trip in Scotland in 1829 inspired him to write down the draft for his Symphony No.3. A decade later, the composer transformed his drafts into a colorful and exciting symphony with rich layers of music that recreate the life and land of Scotland.

These classic works will bring you different experience and imagination of classical music. Please come and join us to enjoy the wonderful performance! For more information about this concert, please visit the website: https://bit.ly/2JCIXPh
