Ching-Wei LIN is the Artistic Director of the Epoch Symphony Orchestra. Since 2021, he has been dedicated to crafting classical music performances that fuse heritage with innovation. Sheng-Hua HU is an extraordinary violinist who enjoys an illustrious reputation on the international stage. He made history as the first Chinese musician to serve as Principal Second Violin of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. A winner of the Global Music Awards, his album On & Between garnered a Grammy nomination in 2016, and his 2014 recording of Corigliano with the Albany Symphony Orchestra won the Grammy Award for "Best Classical Instrumental Solo." Hu is a laureate of numerous prestigious competitions, including the Paganini, Sarasate, Gershwin, Waldo Mayo, Lucille Lortel, Hudson, and Staring international violin competitions.
His performance footprints span global cultural capitals, including New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Baden-Baden, Paris, and London. In 2019, he assumed the directorship of the New York Chamber Orchestra, and his brilliant performance conducting musicians from the Metropolitan Opera at Carnegie Hall earned a front-page feature in The New York Times.
