Now in its fifth consecutive year, the Hetiun Cup National Street Dance Competition is jointly organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Tainan City Government and the Hetiun Cultural and Arts Foundation, with the dedicated co-organization of the S.F.C Dance Crew. Over the years, it has evolved into the largest street dance tournament in Tainan City and a highly anticipated national summer highlight for youth, drawing elite middle and high school teams from counties and cities across Taiwan annually.
This year's competition expects to register 15 teams each for the Junior High School and Senior High School categories. It will continue to feature the Solo battle format, allowing dancers to independently showcase their unique personalities and technical prowess on stage. Meanwhile, the Team division will challenge the chemistry and collaborative spirit among members, bringing their months of rigorous training to fruition. The venue is set at the prestigious Auditorium of the Tainan Cultural Center—one of the nation's premier facilities—enabling competitors to unleash their full potential on a professional theatrical stage while offering audiences a top-tier, comfortable viewing experience. This tournament is undoubtedly the ultimate national street dance event of the summer.
