Founded on February 19, 1992, the Madou Philharmonic Choir is approaching its monumental 35th anniversary.

To celebrate this milestone, the choir is joined by long-time friends from Japan: soprano Kumiko Ittetsu and pianist Chie Tsuji, who will present a captivating program of Japanese art songs, vocal solos, and piano recitals. In a beautiful musical dialogue, the Madou Philharmonic Choir—under the baton of conductor Ruan Jia-Qiao—will respond with a selection of classic Mandarin and Taiwanese pop songs, showcasing the exquisite lyricism, linguistic cadence, and rich harmonic beauty of Taiwanese and Chinese choral music.
